The tablet crapped itsself so there may not be any new comics for a time. I can still scan stuff I guess... not that Im good about doing that on any kind on basis, but mabey I'll start.
Also I've got a small PSA: taking pictures of baby animals and naked people does not in itself qualify you as an accomplished artist. And just because I can reaconize that anime character from television does not imply that you have the makings of a great artist either. Im not saying these things cant be art, I am saying that these subjects are not automaticly art.
and lets see.. ah, any concerned parents out there? great listen, I do not do drugs, I do not drink, I dont even smoke, I dont worship satan, and for the love of jesus I am not corrupting your children. Wanna call me a liar? Want to challenge my integrity? Call me and speak. Present your evidence.
Next item.. I am giving my sketch book doodles away. clearance sale. everything must go. Gimmi a note if there is something in my 'sketchbook' gallery that you want. You might just get it. Only off limits are watercolors (because they are already gone) and imaginary friends (because Im trusting them with Ryan the Poet). I'll do my best to musterup the ...whatstheword.. initiative? to get scanning.
Sorry if this sounds more like a rant than an update. Everyones got problems, I just think mine are more important than all of yours.

that was a joke, but if I act like its not - I apologize.

Im not going to college, HA
Instead I make art music and good times with my dear friend David.
I dont sell my art

I am an artist. I give all my art away for free for several reasons; combining money with something sacred (like art) often results in something sad (like churches, psycotheripists, educational institutions). If I sell my work Im afraid that it'll become a product - nothing more. If I keep my work piled up in a closet it does nothing for nobody ..essentially a hobby. Money is overrated anyway. Now I give my art away - either to people I like or dont know at all

Street art is pretty attractive to me for the reason that I make no money from creating it, and nobody pays to view it. As far as I can determine (which isnt always very far) Street art is the most honest visual art form there is. Not to be confused with Graffiti - Graff has become tainted and confused with shit like "flexing rep" and "beefs" "racking paint" "fuck the police" and a pitiful bundle of more ignorant subjects not having anything to do with art

I like to pick flowers, I like to jump in puddles, I like doing stupid shit with David, I like to paint walls, I like to misplace open hotsauce packets in designer jeans at the mall, I like to crack stupid jokes, I like turntabling, I like making people smile, or think, or sometimes angry

quotes make me look deep

"when we change the way we look at things, the things we look at change" - Ben (The Signal)

"Everybody is busy drawing these stupid lines! .. You're even drawing lines now! We're all too busy splitting everybody up with these stupid fuckin lines. 'I dont agree with these people' Line. 'I dont agree-'LINE. Wanna stop cutting yourself off from everybody else? Wanna try to change hearts before changing laws?" - Philip Winchell

I sit on a man's back, chocking him and making him carry me, and yet assure myself and others that I am very sorry for him and wish to ease his lot by all possiable means - except by getting off his back - Leo Tolstoy

The battle for the mind of North America will be fought in the video arena... The televison screen is the retina of the mind's eye. Therefore, the television screen is part of the physical sctructure of the brain. Therefore, whatever appears on the televsion screen emerges as raw experience for those who watch it. Therefore, television is reality, and reality, is less than television. - Prof. Brian O' Blivion (VIDEODROME)

"...I have no wish to take part in such mindless praise. If faith cannot make it into a holy deed to murder one's own son, then let the judgement fall on Abraham as on anyone else... The ethical expression for what Abraham did is that he was willing to murder Isaac; the religious expression is that he was willing to sacrifice Isaac; but in this contradiction lies the very anguish that can indeed make one sleepless.." - Soren Kierkegaard (fear and trembling)

Everybody wants to get on the Van
Gogh boat. There's no trip so horrible that someone won't take it. The idea of the unrecognized genius slaving away in a garret is a deliciously foolish one. We must credit the life of Vincent Van Gogh for really sending this myth into orbit. - Rene (Basquiat)

Chim chim-in-ey, chim chim-in-ey
Chim chim cher-oo!
I does what I likes and I likes what I do

Today I'm a screever and as you can see
A screever's an artist of 'ighest degree
And it's all me own work
From me own memory

Chim chim-in-ey, chim chim-in-ey
Chim chim cher-oo!
I draws what I likes and I likes what I drew
No remuneration do I ask of you
But me cap would be glad of a copper or two
me cap would be glad of a copper or two...
-Bert the Chimneysweep (Mary Poppins)

My war paint is Sharpie Ink - Kimya Dawson

If only there were evil people somewhere insidiously committing evil deeds, and it were necessary only to separate them from the rest of us and destroy them. But the line dividing good and evil cuts through the heart of every human being. And who is willing to destroy a piece of his own heart? - Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn
